EHPS Job Advert: Professor of Health Psychology

"The Institute of Psychology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences is seeking to

appoint a Professor (f/m) of Health Psychology

(40 hours per week; permanent employment according to the Austrian Law on

Salaried Employment (AngG); expected starting date May 2nd 2017).

The position involves teaching and research (experimental/psychophysiological)

in the field of Health Psychology. We seek a person who will contribute to

research in the core research areas of the University (Brain and Behaviour

and/or Learning - Education - Knowledge). He/she should collaborate with

existing research groups within the institute and the research core areas and

should support inter-university networks (BioTechMed). He/she is expected to

demonstrate his/her scientific eligibility by outstanding publishing activity, have

national as well as international contacts in the scientific community, and be

versed in the acquisition of contractual research projects. An academic degree

in Psychology is required as well as a habilitation in the field or a comparable

qualification. In addition, we expect gender mainstreaming competence.
